Meet the Instructor

Jeanne Lambros

I have been a Michigan Public School Educator offering a strong educational background and many years of teaching and facilitating elementary and preschool education, literacy program development, and educational leadership as coach/mentor. Most recently I served as a K-8 Reading Specialist offering support to classroom teachers as well as to students.

I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Special/General Education, and ZA endorsement/ Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Education of the Learning Disabled Child.  I have extensive training in educational literacy with experience in the development of literacy programs and the implementation of differentiated literacy instruction.  I have been involved in private practice tutoring for approximately 30 years and have worked extensively to offer individual assessment and instruction and the opportunity for our youngest learners to improve their personal reading, writing and math skills.

My personal and professional goal has always been to assist ALL learners in the development of a life-long love of learning.  I would love to work with you and your child to support the development of skills and strategies to independently read for meaning, successfully communicate thoughts and ideas in writing, and nurture the development of basic math understanding and skills. I will be available to communicate with your child’s classroom teacher if requested so we can give your child the best opportunity to be a capable and successful learner.
